Major Line Item Table Enhancement Released
The Line Item Table has been completely redeveloped to enhance the user experience, streamline data entry and improve validation.
The most notable difference is that the table will now display directly on the form (see graphic below), instead of the pop-up window. You will notice it has a modern look & feel with a much better layout.
Additional enhancements include....
- Field Formatting & Validation
- Database Driven Drop-downs
- Custom Help/Error Validation Messaging
Internally the data is now stored as XML to facilitate reporting and other integration needs.
Overall, the new line item table data element will truly provide "grid-type" display and data entry to our standard forms. This further minimizes a need for custom forms and a reliance on technical resources to complete a process automation project.
