Advance Search Capabilities; Drill-Down to Data Element Level
This much anticipated enhancement allows users to drill-down a search to the data element level (field) of a process. This will obviously streamline search result to a specific number of process instances; only those matching a specific piece of data.
Instructions:
Under the standard search menu, choose the Advanced Search option. In the Advanced Search page, users can choose a specific process. A drop-down list of process specific data elements is then provided. Once a data element is chosen, users can then enter the search text. Standard search options, such as Start Dates, End Dates, Completion Status, and Initiated By are also available.
The security settings of a process will still determine whether a user can search on a process and what type of information will display.
